Without realizing that the past is constantly determining their present actions, they avoid learning anything about their history. They continue to live in their repressed childhood situation, ignoring the fact that is no longer exists, continuing to fear and avoid dangers that although once was real have not been real for a long time. Everyone has stuff to work on.

I try to keep an open mind and stay vigilant in my life to make sure that I am not hurting anyone with my words or treating them unfairly. There are always people and situations that come along that are harder than others to do this with, and so at those times, well I do the best I can, and I continue to challenge myself to do better. For many years, I was afraid to speak up in fear others wouldn't want to hear, what I had to say.

If you don't speak up in life, you can't expect others to do it for you. Use your voice within and express how you feel.

If you notice someone is having a hard time speaking up, try to empower them to use their voice. Perhaps, this will give them the courage they need to do it themselves. We all matter and should be encouraged to feel like we do. What if, instead of pushing so hard to make life happen, you decided to let go a little and allow life to happen to you? What if, instead of trying to always be in control, you sometimes surrendered control to something bigger than yourself?

What if, instead of working so hard to figure out every last answer, you allowed yourself to be guided to the solution in perfect timing? At such times, remember, fear is connected with joy. We need new experiences to keep our minds fresh. We need new opportunities to feed the creativity of our souls. We need new adventures for personal growth. Start focusing on what you want going forward.

When you focus on the right thing, even the difficult steps will seem easier. Unnecessary possessions are unnecessary burdens. If you have them, you have to take care of them! The burdens of the moment become much more bearable, when you connect with the purpose behind them. There is great freedom in simplicity of living. It is those who have enough but not too much, who are the happiest.

There are some things in life that you may never completely get over. Just continue the journey, focus on the present, do your best and trust the process.

You have everything you need to become what you are capable of becoming.

Incredible change happens when you decide to take control. This means consuming less and creating more. It means refusing to let others do your thinking, talking and deciding for you.
